Shalini Mohan, D.M.D., B.D.S.
Dr. Shalini Mohan graduated magna-cum-laude from Tufts University in Boston and moved to our neighborhood a couple of years ago. She has been an extremely valuable addition to our practice. She is married with one son who just turned 1 year old in December! She is available Monday, Wednesday, Friday and every other Saturday for all your dental needs.

Dr. Shalini Mohan graduated Magna-Cum-Laude in 2004 from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. She joined our practice as an associate in July 2004 and became Dr. Hynek's business partner in 2007.
Dr. Mohan is very active in the local community and holds annual free dental screenings at the Oswego Senior Center, dental hygiene seminars at local preschools and daycare centers and supports the Kendall County Food Pantry through food drives at our office.
Her emphasis is on quality dentistry performed in a caring, thoughtful manner. She takes time to explain procedures to patients and tries to calm any dental fears they may have. Her passions include, Cosmetic Dentistry, Minimally Invasive Dentistry which includes laser decay detection and preventive dentistry. She is certified in the latest Diode Laser Therapy which has given us wonderful results with our patients who have Chronic Gum Disease, Canker Sores, and Cold Sores.
Dr. Mohan is a member of the Illinois State Dental Society, ADA, CDS and Fox Valley Dental Society. She is proficient in placing Lumineers (No Drill Veneers), placing implants, dentures, including implant supported dentures, extractions, crowns, bridges and Root Canal Therapy among other dental procedures. She takes several continuing education courses to keep herself updated on the latest dental technologies.
Dr. Mohan lives in the Aurora area with her husband, and their two children-a son, age 5 and a daughter, age 2. She is available Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and every other Saturday for all your dental needs.
